Laura's personal favorites, curated from those growing in the Foxhill Garden. Tulip bulbs are imported from Holland. Please be sure you're located in a zone that gets cold enough to grow tulips, otherwise, pre-chilling is a necessity!
If you want your tulips to look more full, plant in clumps close together but not touching. 6" space between is not necessary and will not achieve the "full" look. You can also dig a trench and do the same, placed close together as long as they do not touch. For longer stems, when cutting, pull the entire bulb out by the base of the stem and then cut/compost the bulb. Most tulips will not bloom reliably the next year, we treat ours as annuals.
